July 2-8 {Highlights + Independence Day!!}

With temperatures reaching 100+, Thomas, Isabelle and I spend many of our summer afternoons at the swimming pool.

Between the diving boards, water slides and splash pad, the water fun never gets old!

The highlight of the week was celebrating Independence Day mid-week!

Happy 4th of July!!

The day began with Greg and I taking the kids on a hike up Millcreek Canyon, and the evening was spent at a BBQ/birthday party with friends and watching the spectacular fireworks at the park.

It was a very fun 4th!!

Sweetheart Greg bought the kids glow-sticks at the park 

to play with during the firework show. 

It made the kids super happy and kept them 

endlessly entertained!

The kids had so much fun!

At the end of the week, due to the extreme 

heat conditions we've been experiencing, 

I decided it was time to cut Thomas' blonde mop hair.

Sunday was a very big day!

Isabelle said good-bye to her training wheels 

and she began riding a 2-wheeler!
